Pregnancy News

I am finally posting some very late pregnancy photos. These pictures were taken at 20 weeks but I've waited a week to post them. I actually feel like I look less pregnant in the last few days and I even lost 2 lbs! It is so weird. I've been doing okay. I'm still not over the 'morning sickness'...I still get nauseated a lot of evenings. The only remedy is to go to bed. I've had some bouts of nausea during the day again, too. It has been a rough week. I had a good week while I was on vacation in Orlando, but since getting back it has been touch and go. Rylee was sick throwing up last Sunday. We thought it was food poisoning because it only lasted 3-1/2 hours and she was good as new by morning. I've since wondered if it was a bug since I've battled all of this nausea. Who can tell...my symptoms are exactly the same as they've been this whole pregnancy, I just don't like the idea of being almost 5 months along and still struggling with nausea. It doesn't bode too well for the last half of the pregnancy!

On a brighter note...we are getting adjusted to the idea of having a boy. I guess I should say I am adjusting...I don't think Damon has had any problems with the idea of a boy!! I bought 2 more outfits at Walmart today. They were preemie size...every is cute when it is that little!! We are toying with several name ideas, but nothing is definite. Two of the names we were talking about when I was pregnant with Rylee have been taken, so those are out. I think I've picked out the bedding set for the nursery too! I'll post some pictures when I know for sure. Yet again it doesn't have that sweet baby feel like little girl stuff, but I really like it.

It is exciting to be feeling the baby move!! I've been suspecting I felt him for about a month now, but it was very inconsistent. Now I can tell for sure and even predict his active times. I'm really looking forward to when Rylee can feel him. She really enjoyed feeling my niece kick with my sister-in-law!! She still talks regularly about the baby in her tummy. In case you were wondering, she is having a baby sister in her tummy... LOL! Yesterday I asked her where the food was she was eating and she pointed to her tummy and said she ate it so she could feed the baby. She is a mess! We've still got a long way to go, but it is fun starting to reach these important milestones.
